I am officially graduated. Wahoo.

On Friday, I had my college graduation. It was fun, and boring. Haha, like any other grad to ever happen...

I feel a lot better about not being able to find a job yet, as most of those in my class who showed up also didn't have job offers yet. I did, however, see a posting for a job in the unit where I did my practicum. Chances of me getting this job are not likely, but I am hopeful.

It's my second to last weekend on campus, and I am sit-upside-down-stare-at-the-walls bored. Seriously, this place can be SO boring. No weekend out-trip... most kids studying.... WHAT AM I TO DO FOR ENTERTAINMENT!?

I am planning on getting my piercings back on the 28th, and I move on the 29th. Besttttt. I can't wait!

Canada day is coming, shenans to ensue....

C is for Canucks!

One win away from the Stanley Cup! I have so much faith in these boys, it's not even funny! I really truly believe this is their year!

I went paintballing today. I kicked ass and didn't even get shot once! I rule! /does a little dance.

It's official!

I am officially moving out of Dwight on the 29th! I feel happy and a little nostalgic. There are times I will want to forget, and there are times I will want to relive, such as the ICL camp.

I will miss having my laundry done for me, but be glad to be able to do it whenever I want. I will miss having my meals made for me, but be glad I can eat what I want, when I want. I won't miss sharing a bathroom with nine other girls. I won't miss working 8am to 10:30pm. I most certainly won't miss the spiders.

I am excited to be moving closer to work, only a ten minute drive now! Yay! Closer to my best friend, hurrah for last minute plans! And getting a new start in a semi-new place. I may even get a job at a Thrifty's down there part time to meet new people. I am going to start a work out routine and lose this Dwight Food Weight. Ugh. So much opportunity, and I plan to make the most of it. More job ops, more friends to be made... This is going to be so good for me.

Update on the sunburn: Still in pain. Face is flaking. Nose is peeling (Called it!). Slowly losing the sting though. That's progress!!

B is for Beaches and BURNS

Tofino.

The surf capital of the island. Endless sandy beaches, a variety of campgrounds, a real surfers paradise. Of course, I am not a surfer, something about being in a cold ocean... not my thing. Maybe if I ever go to Hawaii... haha.

Amazing weather, absolutely gorgeous... And I have the sunburn to prove it! Boy oh boy I did a number on myself this weekend, and the sad part is, my mom said she has seen me more burnt! You'd think I would learn by now, but what is a summer without Danielle getting a ridiculous sunburn at leaaast once?! But I can hope that now I am going to remember sunscreen (chances: slim to none). I could either hide from the sun for the rest of the summer or just do smaller doses than 5 hours in straight sun without sunscreen.. Haha. I am honestly so red the lobsters are jealous, bitch please. I even have the sunglasses outline burned onto my face. My nose is the worst. AGH.

I have already finished my last book purchase, only took me a day and a half... lovely. I know I should invest in a library card, but there's something about actually owning the book...

I at least got the day off work and can work from home today, seeing as I can't even wear a bra right now :( Thank god for solarcaine, or as we call it in my house, Daniellecaine... sunburn relief bought specifically for Danielle.... awesome.

I will keep you posted as to how my burn heals... peeling or a tan (my vote: hella peeling, especially the attractive nose-peel)

More for my Summer To Do list...

#9 - Get my piercings back! - I had to take them out for my job at the school, and now that I am leaving, I am getting my nose and maybe my lip piercing back!
#10 - Learn how to cook more things - This will be quite the adventure and definitely something to blog about as I am terrible in the kitchen!
